Acceptance of these terms
By making a reservation with The Bansara Royale, whether through this website, by telephone, or through a third-party travel agent, you agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and every guest in your party.
Reservations
- A reservation is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from the hotel carrying a booking reference.
- Rates displayed on this website are per room, per night, at the base occupancy stated for that room type, and are subject to change until a booking is confirmed.
- Rates for the same room type vary with the number of guests. Charges for additional adults and children are calculated and shown before you confirm.
- All rates are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Taxes are charged at the rate prevailing on the date of stay.
- The hotel reserves the right to decline or cancel a reservation where a pricing error, technical fault or suspected fraudulent booking is identified, in which case any amount paid is refunded in full.
Check-in and check-out
- Check-in is from 12:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may be chargeable.
- A valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory for every adult guest at check-in. PAN card is not accepted as valid ID proof.
- The hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation where valid identification cannot be produced.
Occupancy, children and extra beds
- Guests up to 5 years of age stay free of charge when sharing existing bedding.
- Guests between 5 and 14 years are charged at the applicable child rate.
- Guests above 14 years are treated as adults for rate purposes.
- Maximum occupancy per room type is stated on the Accommodation page and is strictly enforced for safety reasons.
- An extra bed is available on a chargeable basis, subject to availability at the time of check-in.
Meal plans
- EP (Room Only) includes complimentary Wi-Fi, toiletries and basic room amenities.
- CP (Breakfast Included) includes everything in EP plus complimentary breakfast for the base occupancy of the room.
- Breakfast for additional guests is charged separately at the prevailing rate.
- Restaurant and room-service charges are billed separately from the room tariff.
Payment
- Payment may be made online at the time of booking or at the hotel, depending on the option selected during checkout.
- Online payments are processed by our payment gateway. The hotel does not store card details.
- The hotel may require a pre-authorisation or deposit at check-in against incidental charges.
- Any balance is payable in full at check-out.
Cancellation and no-show
The full reservation price is charged for cancellations made up to 2 days before arrival. No-shows incur a cancellation fee. Full details, including how refunds are processed, are set out in our Refund Policy.
Guest conduct
- Guests are asked to respect other guests and hotel staff at all times.
- Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. A cleaning charge applies where this is not observed.
- Illegal substances, weapons and hazardous materials are prohibited on the premises.
- Pets are not permitted unless expressly agreed in advance.
- Guests are responsible for any loss of or damage to hotel property caused by them or their visitors.
- The hotel may require a guest to leave, without refund, where conduct endangers or seriously inconveniences others.
Facilities and services
Facilities including the swimming pool, restaurants, banquet hall and transfer services operate at published times and may be closed for maintenance, private events or reasons beyond our control. Their temporary unavailability does not entitle a guest to a refund of the room tariff.
Liability
- Guests are responsible for their own belongings. Valuables should be kept in the in-room safe where provided, or deposited at reception.
- The hotel is not liable for loss or damage to property except where caused by our negligence.
- The hotel is not liable for failure to perform where prevented by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, civil disturbance, strikes, utility failure or government direction.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Banquet and event bookings
Banquet and event bookings are governed by a separate written agreement covering the deposit, final headcount deadline, menu confirmation and cancellation terms for that event. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the event agreement prevails for the event itself.
Third-party bookings
Where you book through an online travel agent or other intermediary, that party’s payment, amendment and cancellation terms apply to your booking in addition to these terms. Requests to amend or cancel such bookings must be made through the party you booked with.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal.
